“Everything was great about Riad Cherifa. We loved the interior design, the atmosphere, the breakfast, and most of all, the kindness and attendance of the always-smiling staff. Once we entered the little door of the Riad, Later we were greeted by the Muran, who speaks three languages fluently, he offered us some mint tea as a form of local hospitality. We really enjoyed our stay in Riad Cherifa and shall definitely go back again!
“Riad Cherifa is a beautifully decorated and well-maintained Riad in Chefchaouene. The location was ideal. It was very easy to find after a full day of getting lost and exploring. The decor is eclectic, colourful and completely different to any of the other Riad’s we stayed. The weather was quite cold and rainy while visiting so, the Riad itself was definitely chilly but, the rooms were heated (which we needed and took advantage of) and a fire was prepared for us in the morning at breakfast. We were 3 people in our room and we had a large bed plus a twin sized bed. The room was small but, well appointed and the linens were quite luxurious. Breakfast was delicious and extensive and we loved the homemade jams with doughnuts. Coffee and tea were plentiful. We were assisted with transportation to our next destination and overall were very pleased with our stay. Riad Cherifa is definitely a solid option when visiting Chefchaouene and we would recommend.“
“The decor is beautiful, with so much attention to detail. I could spend hours wandering the hotel and looking at the wood panelled ceilings, tiles, antique furniture and art, tapestries and rugs. Stunning. The roof top terrace is over two floors and allows lovely views of the sunset.
The room was beautiful, well equipped with a coffee machine, water, fridge, hair dryer and shower products. Also the decor in the room was beautiful, we had two chandeliers, a beautiful wooden bed and a spacious tiled shower. It was extremely clean and well looked after.
The staff were very attentive, welcoming and helpful. They offered recommendations of places to go and things to do, and were generally just very lovely.
The breakfast in the morning (included and served 8am-10am) was a lovely spread of pastries, breads, fruit, yogurt and eggs, with coffee and VERY fresh orange juice. Amazing! The breakfast was served by very friendly and considerate staff.
“My friends and I have travelled all over Morocco and this has to be the prettiest riad in the entire country! The perfect location close enough to the main square in Chefchaouen but in a quiet side street. The path leading up to the riad is just as beautiful as the inside.
The rooms were clean, and probably the best water pressure we’ve had on our trip! The staff was friendly and helpful, and always present to help us with whatever we needed. Breakfast was delicious and almost more than we could handle- and thankfully the strongest coffee I’ve had so far!
Would highly recommend this riad to friends and family, and would gladly book again!
